Find Yourself Craving Alcohol Regularly?

Find out more about an active research study at NIDA.

If you are 18-70 years old, drink alcohol, and are willing to quit drinking alcohol during the study, you may qualify. This study looks at changing the activity level of ghrelin, which is commonly called “the hunger hormone,” with a medication to determine if it helps to decrease craving for alcohol.

The study includes a stay at the Clinical Research Unit on the Johns Hopkins Bayview campus for approximately 21 days. Compensation will be provided for participation in the study.
